What exactly is a web site? How many pages will I need?
A web site is one or more pages on the web. The first page is the introduction to your company. Other pages of a web site give further detailed information regarding the services your business offers, possible pictures of your establishment, anything special you, the client, wants to include, and a separate page to show ways the customer can contact you.
How do I actually get on the web?
Once you have selected a domain name, and we have agreed upon the basic layout of your web site, I will begin the designing process. Upon completion and your approval of the project, I will then register your site for you with a web hosting server, and your customers will be able to immediately view it on the web.
What is a domain name?
A domain name is the name you give to your site. Mine is AEWebs.com and ArizonaEasyWebs.com. Many common names for sites are already used by others, and thus cannot be used by anyone else. will help you develop a name that will be unique to your business.
Is there an additional cost to having my own name?
Yes, there is a nominal registration charge to own your own site name. It will be the name by which you will be identified, and no one else can then use your business name on the web.
What does web hosting mean?
Web hosting means that you need a host to connect your page to the internet. Can there be graphics or images on my site?
Do I have to supply my own images?
